Frankston 'RSL' Lady Blues' Co-captain Marita Payne will make her 2009 season debut this weekend against the Nunawading Spectres. After completing her recovery and a stringent rehabilitation program from a break in her left wrist suffered in a WNBL game for the Adelaide Lightning v. Canberra Capitols, Payne will return keen as mustard.

Payne's return comes at a perfect time for the Lady Blues as they re-commence their 2009 campaign after the Easter break and a bye last weekend.  "I feel great and am raring to go. I have had the chance to work hard during individual sessions and feel very excited about returning to the team and playing a game." Payne said.

The RSL Lady Blues will play their first game at full strength for the season as they look forward to a rematch against the Spectres at Nunawading on Sunday. The Spectres will still have the services of  "fly in" recruit Kristen Veal for one more game, making it a tough match-up for the Frankston women.
